A World War II undetonated bomb was discovered in an open field in the Jhargram district's Bhulanpur village, Gopiballavpur. The state government moved quickly, deploying its air force and police forces. The local populace was relocated to a secure location. Then it was safely and effectively put out by the police. Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, congratulated everyone on a job well done.
