After seeing anti-election slogans on DU walls, Delhi Police files two First Information Reports (FIRs).

NEW DELHI: Following the discovery of anti-election slogans scrawled on walls in various locations around Delhi University, the Delhi Police filed two First Information Reports (FIRs), according to officials on Thursday. The phrases inscribed on the walls, like "Ek hi raasta Naxalbari," are attributed to Bhagat Singh Chhatra Ekta Manch (BSCEM). The Instagram feed of the self-described youth organization featured images of the slogans. During their Thursday morning sweep, police claimed to have seen the slogans scribbled in the vicinity. Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Manoj Kumar Meena stated, "As a result, two FIRs under the Defacement Act have been registered." Mahatma Gandhi Chhatra Ekta Manch assumed responsibility for the "Ek hi raasta Naxalbari" slogans, which called for a boycott of the polls.
