Chandrababu Naidu believes Visakhapatnam will be the financial center and Amaravati the only capital of Andhra Pradesh.

At a meeting on Tuesday in a private function hall in Vijayawada, the MLAs-elect of the tripartite coalition unanimously elected Naidu as the leader of the NDA Legislative Party. Naidu was put forward as the leader of the NDA Legislative Party by Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, with BJP State chief Daggubati Purandeswari seconding it.

Naidu remarked, "A positive government will function in the most responsible manner in the State," while addressing the NDA's incoming MLAs. Naidu insisted that individuals who made mistakes would not be pardoned since, if spared, they would develop the habit of repeating them. Nevertheless, he made it apparent that there would be no retaliatory politics going forward and just constructive politics. "We'll take legal action against them," he claimed.
