Copa America 2024: Chile vs. Argentina: Projected lineups

The second Copa America 2024 Group A match between Chile and the reigning champion Argentina will take place at the MetLife Stadium on Tuesday (Wednesday in IST).

Diego Valdes, who was replaced at halftime after taking a knock, might not play for Chile. In their first game together, Victor Davila, Alexis Sanchez, and Erick Pulgar were all given yellow cards. Should they receive another yellow card on Tuesday, they will be suspended for their last group match.

After making 35 appearances in this competition, Argentine captain Lionel Messi broke Sergio Livingstone's record.


Alejandro Garnacho, also 19, and Valentin Carboni, who were benched against Canada, could be included. So is Enzo Fernandez of Chelsea.
