CUET UG 2024: Assamese universities that are taking part

For admission to a variety of UG programs available at 47 central, 54 state, 37 deemed, 177 private, and 6 other universities, the CUET UG 2024 was held.

In Assam, there are numerous universities—central, state, and private—that use the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) to accept applicants to their undergraduate programs. CUET scores are used by universities, such as Assam University and Tezpur University, for undergraduate admission.

University of Assam

Applications for admission to Assam University come from all around the nation. Students are admitted to all UG courses at the university based on their CUET UG scores. The institution offers over eighty courses at four different levels: diploma, UG, PG, and PhD. The ausexamination.ac.in website is the official one.

Courses in Humanities, Languages, Environmental Sciences, Information Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, Technology, and Management Studies are offered by the university's sixteen schools. These sixteen schools are home to 57 departments.

University of Tezpur

Central University Tezpur was founded in 1994 and is situated in the northeastern state of Assam.The university has four schools, including the School of Engineering, the School of Management Sciences, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the School of Sciences, with a total of 27 departments. The website in question is tezu.ernet.in.

Science, Humanities & Social Sciences, Engineering, and Management are among the subjects in which Tezpur University provides UG, PG, PG Diploma, and PhD programs. For admission to all PG, PG Diploma, and PhD programs, Tezpur University administers its own entrance test, known as TUEE. For some programs, such as Integrated M.Com and Integrated M.sc. in Life Sciences, among others, it also takes into account CUET UG scores.

Many Assamese universities hold their own entrance exam for UG course admission and do not accept the CUET UG score.

Admissions for the four-year UG program FYUGP, the five-year integrated master program FYIMP, and the five-year integrated postgraduate program FVIPGP will only be available via the shared admissions portal assamadmission.samarth.ac.in, whether through CUET or non-CUET mode.

Students can choose their programs for non-CUET admission between May 27 and June 2, with the first merit list being made public on June 10. Students can choose their programs for admission using the CUET mode on July 1 and 2.
