The ruling BJP-led NDA and the opposition INDIA coalition are poised for another round of fighting, particularly in Maharashtra and Haryana, after the Rajya Sabha (RS) secretariat announced vacancies in 10 seats from seven states, whose members were elected to the Lok Sabha in the most recent general elections.
Nonetheless, the candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party are probably going to easily win the five states' open Upper House seats.
