NEET UG 2024 Results: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made available the tentative answer key for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG). As a result, the NEET UG result is expected at any time. NTA will also release the cut-off scores in conjunction to the NEET UG result 2024.

For MBBS and BDS applicants, the NEET UG cut-off percentile was 50 last year; for OBC, SC, and ST candidates, it was 40.  Based on the top scores in the all-India common merit list for NEET UG 2024, the NTA will calculate the percentile of NEET UG.

Nitin Viijay, the founder and CEO of Motion Education, said after reviewing the NEET UG 2024 exam: "We anticipate a strong performance from the aspirants based on the exam's conclusion." Despite a little increase in the NEET UG cut-off last year, we anticipate a slight decrease in all category cut-offs this year. The cut-off points for the general category, SC category, ST category, and OBC category might be approximately 129-108, 128-106, and 130-108, respectively.

In 2023, the general category's NEET UG cut-off was raised to 720–137 from 715–117 in 2022. For further categories, the similar pattern was noted. In 2023, the cutoff for candidates who are OBC, SC, or ST will be 136-107.

NEET UG 2024: Trends in cut-off values from the prior year

The May 5th NEET UG 2024 was attended by more than 24 lakh applicants. On May 29, the answer keys were made available, and candidates for medical school had until May 31 to complain to the NEET UG provisional answer keys.

The NTA source informed IndianExpress.com on Friday, May 31, that the NEET UG final answer key and results are anticipated in the second or third week of June. The NEET UG answer key was made available last year on June 4, and the results were announced on June 13.
