Following a triumphant inaugural season in Dubai, the Global Chess League is set to make a reappearance, this time in London.
Viswanathan Anand, Magnus Carlsen, Gukesh, Hou Yifan, Praggnanandhaa, Vidit Gujrathi, Arjun Erigaisi, Tan Zhongyi, and Ian Nepomniachtchi were among the top athletes that competed in the league the last time around. Being on the same squad as Carlsen and learning from him was one of the inaugural season's highlights for youngsters like Arjun, Pragg, and Gukesh.
