After their terrible T20 World Cup campaign, Pakistan's skipper Babar Azam and five other players—Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, and Azam Khan—have chosen to spend their holidays in London before going back home. Along with the rest of the team, the six players will not be arriving in Pakistan on Tuesday. The players listed above intend to visit London to spend time with friends and family. A story in The Express Tribune claims that some are considering participating in local leagues in the United Kingdom.

Assistant coach Azhar Mahmood and head coach Gary Kirsten will go for their separate homes in the meantime. The report further stated that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allowed the coaching staff to return to their home countries as they have no upcoming engagements.

Pakistan's dreadful performance in Group A of the present Twenty20 World Cup came to an end on Sunday as they defeated Ireland by a slim margin of three wickets in their final match.
