Malappuram (Kerala): Congressman Rahul Gandhi, who emerged victorious in the general elections of 2024 from the Lok Sabha constituencies of Wayand and Rae Bareli, expressed on Wednesday that he was unsure which constituency to give up.
Gandhi asserted, however, that both constituencies would be satisfied with the choice he makes.
"I look forward to seeing you soon," he added after expressing gratitude to the Wayanad voters for choosing him for a second term in the Lok Sabha.
"I'm faced with a decision: should I represent Rae Bareli or Wayanad as an MP? Speaking at a public forum here, the Congress leader promised that "both Wayand and Rae Bareli will be happy with my decision."
Having won the Wayanad LS seat by a wide margin for the second time in a row, this is his first appearance in the State.
Gandhi made fun of Narendra Modi by claiming that, unlike the PM, he does not receive instructions from God on what needs to be done.
