On Monday, armed militants assaulted Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh's convoy while it was traveling from Imphal to the tense Jiribam area. The incident injured a civil driver and a security guard from the Manipur Police.
Now, a video of the attack has surfaced, showing the sound of several gunshots and a man screaming incoherently in the background.
According to reports, Manipur police have not taken action on intelligence inputs or warned of violent activities in the last six months, despite multiple intelligence inputs and warnings from the Chief Minister's office to the DCP.
