According to officials on Wednesday, India intends to deploy artificial intelligence (AI) in the food processing industry more quickly in order to increase productivity, raise farmer incomes, and lessen its negative environmental effects. Senior government advisors and bureaucrats emphasized the need for a roadmap to implement artificial intelligence (AI) tools, which are still in their infancy in the nation's vast food processing industry, at a conference on the use of frontier technologies in the sector hosted by NIFTEM (National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management).
