The constable was suspended by the CISF, who also filed a police complaint and started a departmental investigation against her.
Ranaut said she will lodge a complaint with the Ministry of Home Affairs. Ranaut was traveling to New Delhi on the 3 p.m. Vistara flight with her family.
She later stated in a video, "First of all, I am safe and OK. A woman working as CISF security in another cabin was waiting for me to cross her and strike my face from the side as soon as I emerged from the security check. She began mistreating me.
