At the SCO Summit, Modi criticizes China's and Pakistan's cyber and terrorism policies.

Delhi, New: Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit on Thursday that cross-border terrorism required a “decisive response” and that national sovereignty should be respected in connectivity projects. This was done in veiled attacks on Pakistan for its record on terrorism and on China for its connectivity efforts in relation to its Belt and Road Initiative in the PoK region. S. Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister (EAM), made Modi's remarks during the conference in Astana, Kazakhstan. Several heads of state attended the conference, including Chinese President Xi Jinping; Modi did not physically attend.
