Craving Sugar at Night? Whip Up These Quick And Easy Energy Balls in Under 10 Minutes!

After a hearty desi lunch and a savory breakfast, sugar cravings might not appear until lunchtime. But a lot of us eventually get the need to eat something sugary and sweet in the evenings. Perhaps all you're craving is something to eat—ice cream, chocolates, cookies, or a decadent milkshake—rather than actual hunger. Can you connect with this? We have a remedy if the response is affirmative and you frequently give in to your cravings. Vidhi Chawla, a doctor and nutritionist, posted a delicious and healthful meal for an evening snack on her Instagram account. These "energy balls" are a great substitute for manufactured sweets and are also rather tasty. Together, let's make these at home.

How To Make Healthy And Tasty Energy Balls | Healthy Evening Snack Recipe For Sweet Cravings

Here is how to make this yummy and healthy evening snack in four easy steps, as shared by Dr Vidhi Chawla:

1. Prepare The Base:

In a food processor, combine dates, peanut butter, melted coconut oil, rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and cocoa powder. Blend until the mixture forms a sticky dough.

2. Form The Balls: Using a tablespoon or so of the mixture, scoop it out and roll it between your palms to make a ball. Continue until all of the mixture has been used to form roughly 12 balls.
3. Coat the Balls: Make sure every ball is completely covered by dipping it into melted dark chocolate. Roll some of the balls in shredded coconut, others in a mixture of seeds and trails, and some in cocoa powder for diversity.
4. Allow It to Set: To set, place the coated balls on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least half an hour. Have fun!
