"Go back, give up..."Deve Gowda cautions his grandson, "If you don't, you'll have to face my anger." Revanna Prajwal

Prajwal Revanna, the grandson of former prime minister H D Deve Gowda and a member of the Hassan Janata Dal (Secular) party, is the subject of multiple allegations of sexual abuse. Gowda threatened to isolate Revanna from his family if he did not come back and give himself in to the police on Thursday. There's only one thing I can do at this point. I can give Prajwal a severe warning, request that he come back from wherever he is, and turn himself in to the police. He ought to go through the judicial process. I am putting out a caution here, not making an appeal. He will have to deal with my wrath as well as the wrath of his entire family if he disregards this warning. The JD(S) national president, Deve Gowda, stated in a letter headed "My Warning to Prajwal Revanna" that "the law will take care of the accusations against him, but not listening to the family will ensure his total isolation."
