How the drama at the Bengaluru airport led to the arrest of Prajwal Revanna

A noteworthy event occurred when JDS MP Prajwal Revanna was taken into custody by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into claims that he had been sexually abused. Shortly after midnight on Friday, he was arrested at the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, after arriving from Germany. After the scandal broke, the 33-year-old lawmaker, who had been away for a month, was brought straight to the CID office to be questioned. Revanna, a candidate from the Hassan Lok Sabha segment under the BJP-JDS alliance and the grandson of JDS patriarch and former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, is accused of many counts of sexual assault. He has been charged with three counts of sexual abuse thus far. There was increased security at the airport upon his return.
