Astana (Kazakhstan): During a meeting with his Russian colleague Sergey Lavrov here on Wednesday, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar emphasized the need for the safe return of Indian citizens who are serving for the Russian Army in combat zones.On Tuesday, Jaishankar came to this place to represent India at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) annual meeting. Days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to visit Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the two foreign ministers had their meeting. Modi may visit Moscow next week, despite the fact that the visit has not yet been formally confirmed.
