November 2024: Company Secretary Entrance Exam Registration Opens

Delhi: The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) registration period for the November session is already open, according to the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). For all the information they need to appear in the Company Secretary entrance exam, interested and eligible applicants should visit the ICSI's official website. The CSEET application period will end on October 15, 2024, and is currently open. 

The exam is slated for November 9, 2024, and is required for entrance to the Company Secretaries course. 

Once candidates register for the entrance exam, the institute will also send them a link to the CSEET virtual teaching classes.

Exam structure
Students will be evaluated on four subjects—business communication, legal aptitude and logical reasoning, economic and business environment and current affairs, and quantitative aptitude—in the Company Secretaries Executive Entrance Test. The test will be administered remotely, proctored from any location in the nation, with invigilators keeping an eye on the students via the internet.

Students must receive an overall score of 50% and a minimum of 40% in each paper to be eligible for the Company Secretary entrance test. The exam does not have negative marking. 

The institute made it clear that candidates cannot use a calculator, a pen or pencil, any paper or a notepad during the CSEET.

Qualification standards
Students may register for the CSEET if they are qualified for class 12 or plan to take the class 12 test.

Students who have passed the Institute of Company Secretaries of India's foundation level, final pass candidates from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Cost Accountants of India, graduates with at least 50% of the possible points, and postgraduates are among the candidates exempt from taking the CS entrance exam.  These students can enroll straight in the CS Executive Program and are not needed to take the CSEET.

Remarks
The tests are given in January, May, July, and November during four separate sessions each year.
