Stars at Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's wedding: AR Rahman, Mani Ratnam
Several of the biggest stars in the film business attended Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Nicholai Sachdev's wedding reception in Chennai, including actors like Jackie Shroff and Siddharth and directors like Atlee and Mani Ratnam.
Celebrity Varalaxmi Sarathkumar wed businessman Nicholai Sachdev in a lavish ceremony held in Chennai on July 3. Later, the couple threw a star-studded wedding celebration that was attended by various political dignitaries as well as well-known actors from the South Indian cinema industry, such as Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman.
The chief minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin, along with his son, Udhayanidhi Stalin, congratulated Varalaxmi and Nicholas. Alongside the newlyweds, the political family also posed for pictures.
Atlee, the director of Jawan, and his spouse Priya attended the wedding reception. The couple was also posed with by AR Rahman.
Actress Suhasini, the wife of legendary director Mani Ratnam, and actor Mani Ratnam blessed the couple at the celebration.
Actors Shobhana and Ramya Krishnan were among the other guests, as was choreographer, actor, and director Prabhudheva. Jackie Shroff, a Bollywood celebrity, also showed up and gave the newlyweds a plant seedling.
On June 30, Varalaxmi and Nicholai hosted mehendi and sangeet events at a five-star hotel in Chennai to kick off the pre-wedding festivities. Close friends attended the sangeet, which featured a surprise presence by Superstar Rajinikanth. The joyful mood was enhanced by Varalaxmi and her friends' performance of Priyanka Chopra's famous song "Desi Girl."
