Why would anybody watch Vidhu Vinod Chopra in a movie, 12th Fail questioned.
According to Vikrant Massey, Anupama Chopra, the wife of film critic Vidhu Vinod Chopra, claimed that nobody would go to see his movie 12th Fail in a theater.
Recently, Vikrant Massey, who was in Shanghai for his movie 12th Fail, said that Anupama Chopra, the wife of director Vidhu Vinod Chopra, thought Vikrant was a "OTT actor" and that people might not want to see him in a theater. With a reported budget of approximately Rs 20 crore, 12th Fail was one of the most profitable movies of 2023. However, before its debut in China, the picture had grossed Rs 70 crore worldwide.
"You are making a film after so long," noted renowned cinema critic Anupama Chopra, the wife of Vidhu Vinod Chopra, to Vikrant during a Times of India event in Varanasi. Nobody showed up to see your earlier movie.
