Prepaid and postpaid plan prices have increased, according to announcements from Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio. The benefits of these plans will not alter even when the new tariff takes effect on July 3. The announcement coincides with the goal of both telecom network operators to raise their average revenue per user (ARPU).

The popular Rs 479 plan, which gives unlimited phone calls and data with a validity of Rs 479, will cost you Rs 579 starting on July 3. The cheapest prepaid plan from Airtel, which was priced at Rs 179 per month, is now priced at Rs 199. Additionally, the telecom provider raised the cost of its yearly plan from Rs 2999 to Rs 3,599.
