Air India's new A350 to debut on Delhi-London Heathrow route.
As part of its massive order of 470 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, Air India began receiving the long-range A350 aircraft in December. Six of the airline's 40 A350s that were ordered in 2023 have already been added to its fleet.
Beginning on September 1, Air India will operate its newest wide-body Airbus A350-900 aircraft on the Delhi–London Heathrow route. The A350 will make its long-haul debut here; it is the first new aircraft type that an Indian airline has introduced in more over ten years.
