Rahul Gandhi, the head of the opposition, was seen arguing in favor of the Lok Sabha discussion, saying it "concerns the students and the youth of the country." Vice President and Chair of the Rajya Sabha Jagdeep Dhankar, meantime, forbids the resolution from being considered in the Upper House.
