Amala, who has gained prominence in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, tweeted pictures from her April baby shower. The pair had shared a number of images to announce their pregnancy in January.
In November 2023, Amala Paul and Jagat Desai exchanged vows. Jagat is employed as a manager in a well-known opulent villa in the state of Goa. Amala was previously wed to Tamil filmmaker AL Vijay, but the marriage ended in divorce after three years.
Amala, who has acted in movies such as Ratsasan, VIP, and Deiva Thirumagal, was most recently seen in Prithviraj's Aadujeevitham. She is now working on Level Cross.
