Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh: On Monday, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Nara Lokesh took over as the Minister of Human Resources, IT, Electronics, and Real-Time Governance at the Secretariat.

Nara Lokesh, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu took an oath of office as members of the sixteenth Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Friday.

As Proterm Speaker, G Butchaiah Chowdary, a TDP MLA, led the proceedings.

On June 12, the TDP leader and his council of ministers took the oath of office as Andhra Chief Minister.

As the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Environment, Forests, Science and Technology, and Rural Water Supply, Pawan Kalyan assumed office on Wednesday.

Together with the BJP and the Janasena Party, the TDP had contested both the Lok Sabha and the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.
