According to the article, the businesses only had a quick conversation in March and are not currently in talks for an AI partnership using Meta's Llama chatbot.
According to Bloomberg News, Apple was not actively intending to integrate Llama into iPhones and discussions about a possible agreement did not get to a formal stage because it did not think Instagram owner Meta's privacy policies were strict enough.
