Kolkata: On Friday, during the hearing of a plea submitted by West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Suvendu Adhikari, Justice Amrita Sinha of the Calcutta High Court questioned whether West Bengal governor C V Ananda Bose was placed under "house arrest."Adhikari's petition claimed that he was stopped by the Kolkata Police outside Raj Bhawan on Thursday and prohibited from entering the premises with about 200 alleged victims of violence following the Lok Sabha poll. The judge made this observation, according to news agency PTI.
