New Delhi: Today, while receiving treatment in Hyderabad, Ramoji Rao, the founder of Ramoji Film City and the ETV Network, passed away at the age of 87. He had high blood pressure and dyspnea when he was sent to Star Hospital in Hyderabad on June 5. However, he passed away early today.
A number of well-known politicians and movie stars are anticipated to pay their final tributes today after his remains were moved to his home in Ramoji Film City.

Ramoji Rao's death was announced as "extremely saddening" by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also expressed his condolences.
"He was a trailblazer who transformed Indian media. His significant contributions to journalism and the film industry have had a lasting impact. With his notable 
efforts, he set new standards for innovation and excellence in the media and entertainment world," PM Modi said on X.
