Election observers in Uttar Pradesh stop voters in Sultanpur following Sambhal and Amethi

Sultanpur reported yet another instance of police allegedly stopping voters in Uttar Pradesh from casting ballots. Some residents claimed that they were prevented from casting ballots by the local police. One person reported that the police had instructed a BLO (Booth Level Officer) to come outside the polling place. He implored the Election Commission to take action. "Voting is not permitted here. The person said, "They are requesting that the BLO vacate the voting booth. Such an occurrence has happened in the past with the UP police.
