Europa League | After defeating Roma to go to the final, Bayer Leverkusen set a new unbeaten record in Europe.

With a 2-2 draw at home against AS Roma on Thursday, Bayer Leverkusen completed an incredible late comeback to advance to the Europa League final. With a 4-2 aggregate victory, they also set a record for the longest unbeaten streak in all competitions, including European matches. After Leandro Paredes scored two penalties for the visitors, Roma defender Gianluca Mancini threw in his own goal in the 82nd minute to put Leverkusen behind 2-0. However, late substitute Joseph Stanisic equalized the score for the home team.
