Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh: By a margin of 1,52,513 votes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won the UP seat in Varanasi for the third time in a row, defeating Congressman Ajay Rai. Narendra Modi defeated AAP chieftain Arvind Kejriwal in 2014 with a margin of over 4 lakh votes, and he triumphed over Samajwadi Party candidate Shalini Yadav in 2019. At the time, Ajay Rai, who had previously run against PM Modi in the previous two elections, was a distant third.
