In Bihar, there is yet another bridge collapse—the tenth in more than 15 days.

Patna: According to an official, Bihar witnessed yet another bridge collapse on Thursday, marking the tenth such occurrence the state has reported in less than two weeks. District Magistrate Aman Samir stated that the most recent occurrence was reported from Saran, which had seen two additional bridge failures in the previous day. The building, which the local government had constructed fifteen years ago, fell this morning, he claimed, with no casualties recorded. Situated in the Baneyapur block, the little bridge spanned the Gandaki river and served as a means of connecting many villages in Saran with the neighboring Siwan district.
