According to a June 14 announcement to stock markets, billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani boosted his interest in Adani Enterprises by 1.32% from the open market in the April to June quarter.

Adani paid for this AEL investment in two installments. He purchased a 0.42% additional share through Kempas Trade and Investment in the group's flagship company between May 10 and May 14, according to the exchange filing.

Then, between May 21 and June 12, a 0.92% stake was purchased through Emerging Market Investment DMCC.

The news was released on Friday after market hours, and Adani Enterprises' shares ended the day at Rs 3,269 on the NSE, up Rs 45.50 or 1.41%.

Through Infinite Trade and Investment Ltd., the second-richest Indian and the fourteenth-richest person in the world purchased 0.68% of AEL during the quarter that ended in September.
