Live Oath-Taking Ceremony for Andhra Pradesh's New Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu: This morning, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N Chandrababu Naidu takes the oath of office as the new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, serving a fourth term. Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the swearing-in of 24 additional ministers, among them Konidela Pawan Kalyan, the leader of the Jana Sena Party (JSP), TDP national general secretary, and Naidu's son N Lokesh Naidu. Present were Ministers Jagat Prakash Nadda, Nitin Gadkari, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, and Chirag Paswan, as well as Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The swearing-in ceremony is taking place in Gannavaram, Krishna district, close to Kesarapalli IT Park.
At a meeting in Vijayawada, Naidu was unanimously chosen to serve as the National Democratic Alliance's Leader of the House.
