When Diljit was questioned in a recent chat about providing Karan Johar his song "Lover" for his movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani without compensating him for it, Diljit merely replied, "If he would have paid me, how much richer would I have gotten?"
In an interview with Sucharita Tyagi for her YouTube channel, the "GOAT" singer responded, "I am not friends with anyone as such," when asked if Diljit and Karan were so close that he gave the song away for free.
