Results of the Lok Sabha Election 2024: The campaign was drawn out, and it was particularly challenging to gauge the voters' sentiments.

NDA Reachs 300, India Beats Forecasts

Delhi, New: Voter tallying for the Lok Sabha elections has started. The results will determine whether the return of PM Narendra Modi or a resurgent Opposition takes the stage. In very early leads, the NDA has surpassed the majority mark, but India is still fighting.

543 Lok Sabha seats were up for election in seven phases, which concluded on Saturday. 272 is the majority score. Additionally, today will see the tabulation of votes for the assembly elections in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
In order to counterbalance any potential losses in the north, where it is the main party, the BJP intends to make significant gains in Bengal, Odisha, and the southern states. Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, and Odisha are other important battleground states.
In this election, the voters' attitude has been hard to judge due to the heated and protracted campaign. Three exit polls have the BJP-led NDA forecast to receive a score of well than 400. The sole difference between the others is the NDA's victory margin, which concludes the opposition.

Like it does in every election, the BJP unleashed its powerful apparatus early on and ran a star-studded campaign centered on the economy, development, and plans for the 100th anniversary of independence. Article 370's repeal and the building of the Ayodhya Ram temple served as its supporting evidence.
A far cry from the lack of unity in 2019 was the Opposition's onslaught against the ruling coalition, which made a significant difference.
The story of a constitution change and the removal of reservations had an impact, despite the beginning being weak and uneven in certain areas, such as the Congress versus Trinamool struggle in Bengal and Congress versus AAP in Punjab.
The two teams' lineups have also altered from 2019 to 2019, with Maharashtra serving as the epicentre.
