Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that Kalki 2898 AD made Rs 95 crore nett on its debut day in India. With an expected gross collection of Rs 115 crore from India and an estimated 65 crore from overseas, the movie's opening day totals come to Rs 180 crore.
The movie was released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam; in India, the Telugu version brought in the most money. Telugu accounted for Rs 64.5 crore of the Rs 95 crore net revenue. Next came Rs 24.
