Review of the film Ishq Vishk Rebound: Shahid Kapoor's debut in Gen Z is disappointing
Reviews of the film Ishq Vishk Rebound: Three of the film's four leads, including Rohit Saraf, have already shown their mettle; Pashmina Roshan, who is Hrithik Roshan's cousin and is making her debut, is dressed like a typical Bollywood starlet but loosens up when given the chance.
In "Ishq Vishk Rebound," three best friends—two men and a woman—perform the "luv-shuv" dance. It is not a follow-up to the 2003 smash hit "Ishq Vishk," in which debutant Shahid Kapoor danced and prancing his way into the hearts of the audience, even if it is supported by the same producers, Tips.
It is a Gen Z take on the youthful rom-com genre, or rather, what it aspires to be. Thus, what was formerly referred to as a "triangle" has grown to become a quartet that alternates between them, pausing briefly before continuing on, all the while anticipating which one will emerge victorious in the end.
