At a fashion event for her brand Fenty Hair in Los Angeles, singer-songwriter Rihanna showcased neckpieces designed by Indian fashion luminaries Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Manish Malhotra, drawing attention to their craftsmanship.

However, controversy ensued as Manish appeared to obscure Sabyasachi’s contribution by cropping out his long necklace from the picture, emphasizing only his choker necklace. This gave the impression that Rihanna exclusively wore his design.

The complete picture shared by the Sabyasachi brand revealed both designers' creations, highlighting Manish's oversight in crediting appropriately. Many netizens voiced criticism, accusing Manish of unfairly claiming all credit.

Rihanna, renowned for hits like "Love The Way You Lie," donned an oversized ruby zipper jacket, skirt, and camisole. She accessorized with a three-drop rubellite necklace from Sabyasachi and a choker necklace by Manish Malhotra.

Sabyasachi's necklace boasted tourmaline crystals with brilliant cut diamonds, while Manish's design featured 18K gold with custom-cut rubies encrusted in diamonds.
