SC declines to list Kejriwal's request for an interimbail extension urgently.

Delhi, New: On Wednesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's request for an urgent hearing to extend his interim bail by seven days due to medical reasons in the Delhi excise policy case was denied by the Supreme Court's Registry. The registrar said that he was free to ask the trial court for regular bail based on the earlier ruling from the supreme court. Kejriwal was given temporary bail by the top court on May 10 to campaign for the Lok Sabha election until June 1 and was instructed to turn himself up on June 2. Earlier on Tuesday, the Supreme Court turned down Kejriwal's request for an expedited hearing on his motion to extend his provisional bail in the Delhi excise policy case by seven days due to medical reasons.
