According to recent statistics on the real-world use of these treatments, stomach paralysis is a rare but dangerous side effect of injected pharmaceuticals that treat obesity and diabetes. GLP-1 agonist users have a higher chance of being diagnosed with stomach paralysis, or gastroparesis, than non-users, according to at least three new studies based on extensive patient record compilations. The data is regarded as preliminary because the research haven't been published in medical journals or examined by independent specialists. At the medical conference Digestive Disease Week 2024 in Washington, two were presented on Saturday, and the third is scheduled for Monday.
