Declares joy at receiving permission to visit Parliament following a nearly year-long ban

The Rajya Sabha ban of AAP MP Sanjay Singh has ended.

New Delhi: On Thursday, Aam Admi Party MP Sanjay Singh's suspension from the Rajya Sabha came to an end, which was a significant relief. After being suspended for nearly a year, he was happy to be let back into Parliament.

"I express my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar for withdrawing my suspension," AAP MP Sanjay Singh said in a statement. President Droupadi Murmu will open the Rajya Sabha session today, coinciding with the start of the House activities.

  • Attacking the PM, Sunita Kejriwal declares that "the dictators should be destroyed."

"You all know what is happening to us, how the elected chief minister has been detained in jail and how the CBI arrested him yesterday," he remarked.Since the President is reading the government's message rather than making her own, we will undoubtedly boycott her speech. She reads the government's written speeches. We shall so abstain from the President's speech for that reason.

Notably, prior of President Droupadi Murmu's speech on Thursday, Sanjay Singh and other Aam Aadmi Party MPs staged a demonstration in the Parliament building against the detention of Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal after receiving permission to do so.

The party MPs were spotted carrying signs that said, "Dictatorship will not stand" and "Stop misusing ED and CBI."
