Bloomberg now claims that Apple's second spatial computer, codenamed N107, may not be a stand-alone gadget, in response to the previous revelation that the company was focusing on a less expensive Vision Pro rather than the Vision Pro's replacement. Rather, its computing power is allegedly dependent on either a Mac or an iPhone.
According to the article, the less expensive Vision Pro may have a smaller field of view (FoV) and require an external computer, like a Mac or iPhone. This might assist Apple in cutting expenses so that the product is more reasonably priced. It's also anticipated that the less expensive model won't include capabilities like the EyeSight display, which displays the user's digital eyes onto the outside environment.
