Case involving excise policies: MLC Kavitha and Harish Rao meet in Tihar jail
According to reports, Kavitha asked how her father, BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao, was doing after undergoing hip replacement surgery.
Hyderabad: On Friday morning, MLC K Kavitha and senior BRS leader and former minister T Harish Rao met at Tihar jail.
He apparently questioned her how she was doing throughout the Mulakat and urged her to remain strong, clearly confident that she would emerge unsullied.
It is reported that Kavitha asked how her father, BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao, was doing. He is reportedly recovering from hip replacement surgery.
They are also said to have talked about family matters and politics in Telangana, among other things.
In addition to the BRS working president and her brother, KT Rama Rao, Kavitha was recently visited in jail by former ministers P Sabitha Indra Reddy and Satyavathi Rathod.
In relation to the Delhi excise policy issue, MLC Kavitha's judicial custody was been extended by the Rouse Avenue Court until July 5.
On June 21, the authorities practically presented her to the court. On July 3, the court will take up the matter once more.
