Delhi University introduces a single girl child quota across all courses for UG admission in 2024, marking a first.

DU Undergraduate Admission 2024: Delhi University (DU) has declared that, as of the forthcoming Academic Session 2024–2025, it will implement a single girl child quota across all of its courses. According to DU Registrar Vikas Gupta, the action, which is a first for the university, intends to give single girl children under the supernumerary seats category greater options. 

The process of determining whether candidates are eligible unmarried girls under the age of 18 is still being finalized.The CUET DU CSAS portal 2024, available at ugadmission.uod.ac.in, is now open for registration for undergraduate courses. Prospective students can submit their online applications before the deadline in order to be considered for admission to CUET UG 2024 courses.

DU Undergraduate Admission 2024: Admission determined by CUET results
For some courses, admission for the Academic Year 2024–2025 will be determined by CUET scores, and for other courses, class 12 grades. DU The new session is probably going to start on August 1, according to Haneet Gandhi, dean of admissions.

Aspiring students are advised to take note that admission to all UG programs at all UoD colleges will be determined solely by the results of the Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate) - 2024 (CUET(UG)-2024).

The DU notice states that there would be three stages to the admissions process. The DU CSAS 2024 online registration will mark the start of the first phase. The student's allocation and eventual acceptance will take place in the third phase, after the preferences for programs and colleges have been completed in the second.
