While filming Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam and starring Kamal Haasan, actor Joju George sustained an injury. According to Onmanorama, the actor got hurt while filming a stunt in Puducherry. After being taken to the hospital in a hurry, the physicians advised bed rest. 

According to the article, Joju did a stunt where he had to leap out of a helicopter alongside Kamal and Nassar. He stumbled and fell, hurting his left foot in the process. After Joju was brought to the hospital for treatment, the physicians advised bed rest for a week. But according to the article, Joju went back to the sets wearing a cast over his fractured foot and finished filming his scene on time.
