Srinagar: According to an official spokeswoman, the World Crafts Council has formally recognized Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, as a "World Craft City." "We are committed to supporting our artisans and ensuring that this accolade translates into tangible benefits for the community," he added.
According to Mr. Sinha, the handicraft and handloom industries in Jammu and Kashmir have received unwavering backing from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
