The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG), originally known as the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), which is India's premier medical exam. For admission to Indian medical and dental institutes offering MBBS, BDS, Ayush, and nursing programs, NTA administers the NEET UG exam once a year. The 720-point test is administered offline using pen and paper in 13 different languages. The exam takes three hours and twenty minutes to complete. The NEET UG test consists of 200 questions in total, of which applicants must answer 180. The three areas of the NEET 2025 exam are called Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The initial action to be included in the NEET UG examination is the registration process which generally starts in the first week of February. NTA opens the application window for 1 month.
