On Monday, the CBI questioned Kejriwal in Tihar jail and recorded his statement.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will present detained Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal before it in relation to the liquor policy case, hence the security of Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has been stepped up. In addition, Arvind Kejriwal's appeal against a Delhi High Court ruling that put a hold on the bail that a lower court had granted him in the liquor policy case is set to be heard by the Supreme Court on April 23.

Sources claim that Arvind Kejriwal might be taken into jail by the CBI.

On Monday, the federal agency recorded the Delhi Chief Minister's remarks while questioning him in Tihar Jail about the liquor policy matter. Tuesday saw the CBI file an application with a special court requesting Arvind Kejriwal's production warrant, which the court eventually granted.Today at 10 am, the Delhi Chief Minister will be produced by the CBI before a trial court, most likely prior to the start of the Supreme Court hearing.

Arvind Kejriwal may be formally arrested in front of a court since he is currently under judicial custody in connection with an Enforcement Directorate case. The Delhi Chief Minister won't be allowed to leave if the CBI makes an arrest and takes him into custody of jail today even if the Supreme Court overturns the Delhi High Court's pause on his bail.

The CBI was accused by the AAP of "conspiring to register a fake case" against Arvind Kejriwal in their heated reaction to the development.

"Sources have told me that the Center is planning to file a fictitious CBI case against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and have him arrested by the CBI, even though there is a 100% chance that he will be granted bail by the Supreme Court. AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh stated, "The country is united behind Arvind Kejriwal as they recognize this."
